TSA has passed and I won second place in Electrical Applications at the State Leadership Conference. We had to build an automatic night light, and I knew most of the components. Also, afterwards I had to take an interview on how I built this circuit. Going through that experience again taught me more about my growth in this subject over the past year. This March allowed me to express my understanding of these circuits and test my abilities. From it I saw that I need to focus more on translating the schematic to the way it is built on a breadboard. I am glad I chose this subject because it has helped me to understand the competition better and progress. Next year, I am definitely going to try the competition at a high school level. However, I was the only girl in the competition so that had me scared.
My presentation for this project is coming along at a good pace and I am excited to show how much this has taught me. I haven't decided what I will build for the presentation, and need to try one more experiment on this before then.

February Reflection
I have decided not to get help from Mrs. Elo on my car since a lot of TSA things are happening as the conference grows nearer. I am trying to get some supplies for my car, but I have been busy with Electrical Applications for TSA. To be honest I have been pretty lazy so I haven't learned more lately. I have to take a 50 question test to make it to the semifinals, and its all over electrical circuits so I have been studying for that. I do know our next unit in science is electricity so hopefully this will help my understand.
